Though often overlooked by many women dizziness is a very quite common symptom associated with menopause. Along with other symptoms women may experience a feeing of dizziness when they experience menopausal transition.

There are a number of reasons associated with menopause dizziness. When a woman arrives at menopausal transition there are a lot of hormonal changes in her body. There is also a significant drop in the estrogen level in body. All this may result in a number of symptoms of which dizziness can be one. Menopausal dizziness can be caused by the hormonal imbalances in the case of some women, where as in some other cases the other symptoms of menopause like insomnia, depression, anxiety, migraine headaches and other symptoms can cause dizziness in some women. Furthermore, there are a number of women who experience dizziness when they take medications to battle the other symptoms of menopause.

The extent and severity of menopause dizziness can easily differ from individual to individual. It can be very mild and ignorable in some cases while in some other cases it can be very severe as well as dangerous and can be very difficult to control. A woman who is suffering from very severe form of menopause dizziness may even develop a phobia that if she steps outside of her house she will have an attack of dizziness. This can greatly affect one’s psychology and can lead to other problems. Furthermore, if one is engaged in activities like driving and suddenly have an attack of dizziness; it can lead to deadly circumstances.
